Your Career Story:  I cannot say this more than enough, be social. Don’t surround yourself with like-minded people. Branch out to different clubs, organizations and groups. Learn from them. As a teacher, encourage others to speak out. Try to be social at events. At conferences be there to listen but also be there to communicate and contribute. Networking is a two-way street. Ask for help, but also be there for guidance.
